According to Dewey, pragmatism is the belief that for education to be suitable, the students should interact with the environment to facilitate the process. Emphasis was based on the interaction between teachers and students so that the learning process will be successful (Freeman-Moir, 2012).In the education process, the purpose of the teacher is to ensure that the students are in the right mind so that they can understand the process. The process requires a collaboration between the two parties so that the cycle will be complete. A free environment in the school will help students to acquire skills which will enable them to contribute towards all aspects of the free society.
